Lauren Jackson's free agency and her decision between staying with the Storm or signing in Phoenix has been emotional for Storm fans, and I'm sure you have strong reactions to today's news that Jackson has re-signed with the Storm. Please share them in this thread.

WOO HOO!!! I am so happy! I have been sittin on pins the entire off season. The idea of not having LJ on the court with us was unreal. Seattle has the greatest fans, and we show it! I'm so excited for this season! LJ showed us how graceful, thoughtful and mature she is as a player and a person when she made this decision. So proud to be a Storm season ticket holder!

yay, Yay, YAY!!! I didn't realize how worried I was until I found out she was staying with us. Can't imagine her not being part of the Storm and Seattle. She's going to get a lot of love from the fans this year.

Fricken awesome!!!! Seriously, words cannot begin to explain the emotions right now. I am soooo happy that Lauren is coming back. The news of Sheryl being waived, Yo signing with the Fever, it was scary to think that the Storm could lose another key player. Thank you sooo much Lauren for stickin with us! I was considering giving up on my season ticket, but heck no! Not a chance...looking forward to Opening Day!

YES! This made my WEEK!
At first I wasn't really looking forward to the 10th Anniversary season coming up, because we all didn't know where LJ was headed. But now, I'm asking myself, IS IT JUNE 7TH YET!?
This is going to be an amazing season, let's bring home another trophy, Storm!

I am very, very happy. I know the staff has been putting together a competative team, but let's face it Lauren is always the key. I am very proud of her for making the decision to come back. Although no one was really saying this publicly, I think most of us believe that had she been healthy and played all of the games last year, we might be going for our third championship this season. It really should have been the "perfect storm". I bet a part of her felt she owed the fans who have supported her all this time "another go at it". With a healthy LJ, Swin, returning Janell and Suzy, I like our chances again this year.

AWESOME! I've been a season tix holder since the beginning and I was dreading telling my 5 year old daughter that Lauren was going to play for another team. She tells me all the time that she is going to be Lauren Jackson when she grows up! Now she can continue to dream.

Never really thought LJ would leave. She always stated she loved and only would play in Seattle. The Phoenix thing was a tease (and only b/c Taurasi is there). Phoenix is DT's team and Seattle is LJ's team and only in Russia shall the two ever meet!!!!!!

Happier than happy. Glad LJ decided to return to Seattle for the 10th anniversary season. I don't know what went into her decision and I don't really care, I just know that seeing her in Phoenix blue would not have been fun. Thank you for your loyalty to Seattle and the Storm organizaiton. Be prepared for a huge welcome the first time you are in front of us this year, be it a preseason game, a STH event or opening night. The roof is going to get blown off the Key Arena.

i kind of new from early on, despite the temptations phoenix would offer, lauren would go back to seattle this season. one, cos of her loyalty. two, cos of storm's 10-year anniversary. three, cos suzy will be there. looking forward to this season, even if i'm from australia.

Just great news.....it would have been difficult to see LJ in any other uniform than the Seattle Storm. It is a lost art form to stay with one team. I hope LJ never doubts how much we love and respect her. She has given her heart and soul to this team.

I just want to say thanks and........LET'S GO GET A CHAMPIONSHIP

I can only think of one thing to say-

WELCOME HOME LAUREN!

I was so excited and relieved to hear the news, that I woke up my partner from her nap, despite the fact that she had a dreadful cold. I put my hand on her arm, and quietly said as her eyes fluttered open, LJ signed with the Storm today... Her eyes popped open so big it made me laugh. It was the best news we had heard in a long time. Thank you LJ for coming back to Seattle!! We are so happy about your decision.

Way to go Storm! YAY LJ!!!

Hopefully this is the season for the Storm to win another championship since 2004!

I am unbelievably happy!! I couldn't believe it. Despite me wanting her to stay I thought she was going to go to Phoneix. All the press was saying mostly likely she would, even WNBA Fans were. LJ staying is by far the highlight of my day if not my week thus far!!! Welcome back LJ can't wait to see you on the court!

I am so touched by Lauren's reaction to the fans' support. While she didn't realize we cared back (to her) so much, I didn't realize how much she cared back to us! Her honesty is one of the many things I've always loved about Lauren, and she has been true to her word from the beginning. I and everyone I've talked to in the past day are ecstatic that Lauren will be back this year!!! Can't wait to see you again, LJ.

I am shocked. surprised. i was prepared and can understand if LJ would want to leave Seattle and play for Phoenix. She would have less of a load to carry there. This is bittersweet. LJ is a Taurus and being one too I can understand where a lot of emotion is in her decision. I'm glad for Seattle fans, I'm glad LJ will still be in a green/white uniform. But on the other hand, she's laying her trust on Seattle, the organization, her teammates, to help her bring home another championship to Seattle. With last year's Perfect Storm failing to retrieve the big trophy, this current Seattle team has to surprise the rest of the league with super effort. Janelle Burse is back, right? That should help a lot. The biggest thing that will hurt this team is injuries and inconsistency. I do sure hope they come through because there a lot of tough teams out there. I'm wishing LJ, Sue, Swin, the team and coach Agler the best. LJ, you deserve all the help you can get for being this loyal to Seattle. I'd luv to see you and Sue smiling on that bench again in the closing minutes of another championship. That would be electric. Here's hoping you gals take it all! Oh, and welcome back to Seattle! :)

Stan from Honolulu formerly from Auburn, WA.
I was more then elated that LJ signed with Seattle. I really think the Storm can win the Championship this year with the teammates Lauren has as a supporting cast. She has a healthy Janelle Burse, Swin Cash, Sue Bird and her best friend from Australia, Suzy B.
I think the draft chose of Ashley Walker is fantastic!!! She has terrific talent and attitude and will be great off the bench.

Lauren, Please, please spend the rest of your WNBA Career with Seattle.

I am coming from Hawaii to see you play on August 4th against Phoenix. Stay Healthy.
